FAQs of Differential Pressure Gauge - Magnetic coupling Diaphragm type 200 DGR:
Q: How does the magnetic coupling diaphragm sensor function in this differential pressure gauge?
A: The magnetic coupling diaphragm sensor transmits diaphragm movement to the pointer without direct contact, ensuring leak-free operation and minimizing wear. This technology enhances durability, especially in demanding industrial applications where reliability is critical.
Q: What types of media can this gauge monitor, and in which applications is it commonly used?
A: This gauge is designed to monitor the differential pressure of liquids, gases, and air. It is frequently employed in filter monitoring, flow measurement, level measurement, pump control, and HVAC systems, providing versatile utility across industries.
Q: When should external zero adjustment be performed on this instrument?
A: External zero adjustment should be performed when you notice the pointer deviating from zero at no pressure differential. Routine checks or after installation are recommended to maintain measurement accuracy and instrument calibration.
Q: Where can this gauge be installed and what are the available mounting options?
A: The 200 DGR can be installed in various orientations, thanks to its bottom or back flange mounting options. It fits process systems using male or female threaded connections (BSP, NPT, or specified by the user), offering flexibility for integration into different setups.
Q: What benefits does IP65 weatherproof protection offer for this pressure gauge?
A: IP65 protection ensures the gauge is dust-tight and safeguarded against water jets, making it suitable for outdoor and damp environments. This extends instrument life and reduces maintenance caused by environmental exposure.
Q: How do different seal materials enhance compatibility for diverse process media?
A: Seal material options such as PTFE, Viton, or Neoprene enable the gauge to withstand chemically aggressive or high-temperature media. Selecting the appropriate seal enhances the instruments durability and ensures safe, leak-free operation.
